AIRPORT PAGING
Airport users can pick up any of the 12 white courtesy phones located throughout the Colorado Springs Airport. These phones are directly connected to the Airport Communications Center, where a dispatcher is available to page via the airport's public announcement system. To request a page from outside of the airport, please call
(719) 550-1918 or (719) 550-1919.


ATM SERVICES
Colorado Springs Airport has two ATMs in the airport facility in the following locations:

  • 1st floor or bag claim level near the main escalators
  • 2nd floor or main level on the concourse between gates 3 and 5


AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS (AEDs)
Colorado Springs Airport has 14 of these life-saving devices placed in high-traffic areas in the airport. In addition, many airport employees are trained to use the AEDs and are available to assist in an emergency.

BAGGAGE CARTS
Baggage carts are found in several locations at the Colorado Springs Airport:

*Cart rental is $2.00 with a 25-cent refund upon return of the cart to a storage rack.

CHAPEL
(Closed temporarily due to terminal construction)
The Colorado Springs Airport Interfaith Chapel is open 24 hours for quiet meditation. It is located in the main terminal building in the east corridor next to the news and gift operator.

DATA PORTS
Colorado Springs Airport has numerous data ports available throughout the airport for plugging in laptops and other personal computer devices. The data ports are on public telephones located within the main terminal, concourse and baggage claim areas.

FAMILY CARE ROOMS
Colorado Springs Airport provides two Family Care Rooms inside security on its main concourse. One of the rooms is located between Gates 4 and 6; the other is between Gates 8 and 10. The rooms provide:

FedEx DROP BOX
FedEx has a drop box outside of the Colorado Springs Airport's lower level terminal building entrance. FedEx picks up at 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is no FedEx pick up during the weekend.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
A variety of ground transportation providers service the Colorado Springs Airport 24 hours a day. Ground transportation telephones are centrally located in the baggage claim area on the lower level. These phones will instantly connect to all types of ground transportation services. During the day, taxis and shuttles are available outside the terminal at the lower level. At other times, the ground transportation phone will link to taxis and other transportation providers.

HOTEL SERVICE DESKS
The Broadmoor Hotel and the Cheyenne Mountain Conference Center have counters located in the baggage claim area on the lower level. You may reach the Broadmoor at
(719) 577-5769 and the Cheyenne Mountain Conference Center at (719) 538-4000.

LOST & FOUND
Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) Airport Unit manages the lost and found items left in the airport terminal, parking lot or on shuttle buses, but not on airplanes (the airlines handle those items). The Airport Police office is located in the baggage claim area on the lower level by carousels 5 and 6. Travelers may pick up items left behind or arrange for shipping at their expense if they have left the area. Contact CSPD Police Unit at
(719) 550-1976 or by e-mail to Sgt. Martin at martinma@springsgov.com. Items turned into the Lost and Found are kept in the Airport Police office for 7 to 10 days. After the 10 days, contact the CSPD Evidence Section at (719) 444-7744 to claim items.

NEWSPAPER VENDING MACHINES
Keeping up with news or the local community is important while traveling. Colorado Springs Airport has numerous newspaper vending machines located at all its main terminal entrances on both the upper and lower levels. Local and regional papers such as the Colorado Springs Gazette, the Colorado Springs Business Journal, the Colorado Springs Independent, the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post are available, as are national publications such as the Wall St. Journal, USA Today, the New York Times, Investor's Business Daily and Barron's. Local coupon and real estate guides are also offered.

PLAY AREA FOR CHILDREN
Traveling with children can be challenging at times. To help "burn up" some of that limitless energy, Colorado Springs Airport offers a fun and well-equipped children's play area inside security on the concourse.

POSTAGE MACHINE & DROP BOX
A postage stamp vending machine is located in the main terminal on the upper level to the left after stepping off the escalators. There is a Postal Service drop box located next to the vending machine. The Postal Service picks up mail Monday through Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

SHOESHINE
Travelers can get their shoes quickly and professionally shined while waiting for a flight. The Shoeshine stand is located on the inside security on the concourse between Gates 3 and 5A.

SKYCAPS
Huntleigh Corporation manages the skycaps at the Colorado Springs Airport. Skycaps are available from 4:30 a.m. to midnight to assist with luggage, provide wheelchairs, etc., for all air carriers, except Mesa Airlines.

WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE (FREE)
For those who have wireless Internet capability on their laptop, Palm Handheld, Pocket PC or other portable devices (using an 802.11b capable wireless network card) they may now use the airport's FREE wireless connection service inside security on the concourse. The wireless connections at COS are at "T-1" speeds, about 30 times faster than a dial-up connection. Users can connect and receive e-mails, surf the Web and access corporate networks. Simply set wireless card properties to default configuration or DHCP-enabled. Disable any encryption and input "tsunami" as the access point, if required.
Airport officials suggest users follow standard computing industry safety measures. These include implementation of anti-virus protection with current signature files, personal firewalls, updated security fixes and patches for the operating system and web browsers, etc.
